I was initially worried about organic as a whole after hearing how it is one of the hardest undergraduate courses in college. This was the required book by our professor. I have had this book for about 1.5 months now and I have to say my worries of organic are lessened greatly. This book isn't vague in its descriptions, explanations, or example problems at all. I am a chemical engineering student so I have had a few textbooks that were absolutely awful and were pretty much useless since the content can be extremely difficult at times. I would highly recommend buying the solutions manual with this book. It has detailed explanations of every single EOC problem..not just the odd numbered ones.

Practice problems really help and after following along with my professor every chapter I did not terrible on my first test. This ain't a bad book
